Katerina completed her 5-year osteopathic master's degree in New South Wales before moving to Canberra to be mentored at Australia's leading Osteopathic practice for 4 years. she has since worked in Brisbane, Southern New South Wales, and The Sunshine Coast before deciding to take her skills on the road providing osteopathic services to rural Australia.
She has been lucky enough to be an attending osteopath at several births and the pre and postpartum care of mothers and bubs is one of her passions, from conception through to the mother-child bond. Additional training as a Lactation Consultant and many post-graduate programs have solidified Katerina's love of treating kids and particularly babies with feeding dysfunction.
Katerina's passion and knowledge of the role that breathing plays in optimal health and disease; both physical and psychological, shine through with clients of all ages. And often her take-home exercises include breathing techniques to help change things long after treatment finishes.
She has a strong belief that a person's outlook and understanding of their condition play a large role in their health and recovery. As such, she is committed to helping her patients understand and take an active role in their healthcare.
The body has the capacity to heal itself and the osteopath’s role is simply to facilitate your body to the best it can.
